Oakley partners with MercuryCloud to re-align Oakley.com

SEATTLE, November 2003 – MercuryCloud announces that it has partnered with Oakley, a worldwide leader in high performance eye wear and outerwear, to re-define their website. Working in collaboration with Oakley and Ryan Erwin, head of Oakley Direct, MercuryCloud provided guidance to create a proactive online presence for Oakley that maximizes its corporate reach and capabilities.
To re-align Oakley with its target audience, the team developed a visual language to appeal to the key 16- to 24-year-old “core sports market.” MercuryCloud went through the process of dissembling all of Oakley’s existing information, and rearranged it with simplicity as their guiding principle. The new site employs user-friendly navigation tools that enable customers to browse and purchase products through an intuitive and rich shopping experience.
