Integrated Healthcare Systems re-branded as Talyst

SEATTLE, December 2005 – MercuryCloud announces the re-branding of Integrated Healthcare Systems, now known as Talyst (pronounced “TAL-ist”). A leader in automation technology for hospital pharmacies, Integrated Healthcare Systems was in need of a more prominent, identifiable name and brand identity after rapid growth of the company over the past year.
After facilitating a series of customer and internal staff interviews, MercuryCloud produced an extensive brand report card that served as the framework for building the new brand of Talyst. The plan called for creating a company name, logo, website and marketing collateral. Numerous names were tested that reflected the company’s proactive and intelligent solutions to pharmacy management. Ultimately, Talyst was chosen as a unique derivitive of the word catalyst, with a new and intelligent sound.
MercuryCloud incorporated photo shoots, art direction, design and package naming to define the brand’s visual appearance and style guidelines, positioning the company as a clinical, intelligent and people-oriented entity. To implement the brand, the website, marketing collateral, brochures, letterheads, business cards and certain areas of Talyst’s work environment were all redesigned.
