James Robinson | Creative Director & Co-Founder

With extensive experience in new media branding, interactive multimedia, motion graphics and art direction, James heads our design department. He graduated with a B.F.A. from the University of Georgia, where he received several student American Advertising Federation awards. In 1998, he co-founded Agency180, an Internet strategies firm. Working with clients such as The Cartoon Network, Deutschebank, Georgia Pacific, and Smint, James was soon honored with a nomination for a Cannes Cyber Lion. Before co-founding MercuryCloud in 2003, James also worked with CNN, Keylink, Pioneer Standard and E3 in his position as Creative Director of Bridge Communications. His genuine belief in the power of bold media solutions to move and inspire helps James bring a refreshingly creative spirit to MercuryCloud.

William Prater | Technology Director & Co-Founder

As fast-paced, motivated, and curious as the industry in which he thrives, Will is the cornerstone of our technology department. Will has a long history of developing complex applications and exploring how technical proficiency can shape interactivity and experience on the Web. In 2001, he formed MotionMedia3k, where he worked with Oakley, EBIA, WebAssist, and TalkingRain before going on to co-found MercuryCloud in 2003. Will ensures our studio will always be a progressive advocate of innovative and sound technologies. He guides the team in building and deploying solid architectures and applications that are intuitive and easy to use. Playing an active part in the open source community, his ability to rapidly develop competitive solutions is continually evolving.
